e.k. doolin, she/her, is a theatre artist living in the MetroEast area of St. Louis. She has had her work produced by the Slightly Askew Theatre Ensemble, Prison Performing Arts, The Center for Creative Arts, The Heartland Theatre, York College of Pennsylvania, Geneva Theatre Guild of New York, and Slackline Productions of London, England. Recent and Upcoming: Member of the 2023 St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s Confluence Writers Group; Semi-Finalist for 2022 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region 3, Short-Play Division; Oct 5-8th, 2023 production of short play Waiting for Hecate produced by Prison Performing Arts.

e.k. has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and is currently pursuing an MFA with a concentration in Playwriting from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where you can attend a performance of her newest play, Philoten, at the Big Muddy New Play Festival, April 18-21, 2024.
